Terms And Conditions—Adult Workshops
- I understand all participants must be at least 15 years old to attend this workshop.
- No observers permitted. Space is limited, every attendee is a paid participant.
- Workshops are charged by the hour and that I see the amount of time estimates to complete.
- However the amount of time will fluctuate depending on the artist.
- All projects are completed in studio and I cannot take materials home to complete.
- I have read the workshop frequently asked questions and polices, as seen here.
The general pick-up timelines for artwork are as follows:
- Clay—Ready in 10 days
- Oven-Bake Ditto Clay—Ready in 2 days
- Paintings—Ready in 2 days
Completed artwork is held for 2 weeks only. You will not receive a call or email when your artwork is complete.

- Any children attending are at least the minimum age for the workshop. All children attending are accompanied by an adult who is also a paid participant.
- No observers permitted. Space is limited, every attendee is a paid participant.

Terms And Conditions—Kids Classes, PA / PD Day and Camps
- No refunds at any time.
- Any children attending are in the age range as outlined in the class description.
- No observers permitted.
- All projects are completed in studio, students cannot take materials home to complete.
- There is no credit or refund for missed classes or absences. No credit or refund after the class or camp has begun.
- Before the class or camp begins, 2 weeks notice is necessary to cancel and receive a credit minus $25 admin fee. No refunds.
- Bookings made within 2 weeks of start date - no credit is offered.

GIFT CARDS, CREDITS & REFUNDS
Have a gift card or code that's not working? Please use the chat or email whitby@4cats.com to let us know before completing your purchase. We do not provide refunds after booking—No Exceptions.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
As the legal parent or guardian or organizer, I release and hold harmless to the business doing business as 4Cats Arts Studio, its owners, operators and franchisor from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of 4Cats Arts Studio Professionals, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises.
HEALTH & MEDICAL POLICIES

Medical Emergencies
The purchaser gives permission to the business doing business as 4Cats Arts Studio, its owners, operators and employees to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian. I hereby declare any physical/mental problems, restrictions, or condition and/or declare the participant to be in good physical and mental health. -
Masks
Currently not required by government health guidelines
CANCELLATION POLICIES

For Adult and Family workshops and clay wheel workshop bookings
We do not offer refunds. We can credit your WORKSHOP booking if your booking is cancelled 48 hours prior to the workshop. To cancel a workshop, please email the studio at least 48 hours before the workshop start time. All registrations from the original order will be credited together. - In the event of a COVID-19 emergency lockdown, credit will be given. Credit can be used for future in studio offerings.
- There is a $5 administration fee for any workshop transfers or credit requests for workshops.

For Kids Session Classes, No School Day Workshops and Camps
We do not offer refunds. We can credit your booking if your booking is cancelled 2 weeks prior to the class or camp. To cancel, please email the studio at least 2 weeks before the class start date. - In the event of a strike day camp cancelation due to the strike getting called off, credit will be given. There are no refunds for strike day camps.
- In the event of a COVID-19 emergency lockdown, credit will be given. Credit can be used for future in studio offerings.
- There is a $25 administration fee for any kids class, no school day workshop or camp transfers or credit requests.

For Parties and Private Events
We do not offer refunds. We can credit your booking if your booking is cancelled 2 weeks prior to the party. To cancel, please email the studio at least 2 weeks before the party date. - In the event of a COVID-19 emergency lockdown, credit will be given. Credit can be used for future in studio offerings.
- There is a $25 administration fee for any event transfers or credit requests.
ARTWORK & PICKUP
- Please message us through the homepage of our website and choose the question—"Is my art ready for pick up?" An automated message will tell you our current firing and drying times. Please check our contact page before coming to the studio to make sure we are open. We check our chat messages as often as possible. Please don’t send a chat, phone and also send an email. We promise we will get back to you.
- Our policy is to hold completed artwork for 2 weeks, please pick up the completed artwork within this time frame. We do our best to hold on as long as possible as we know how precious it is. Please note: you will NOT receive a phone call or email for clay pick up when it is ready.

Damage to Artwork
Kiln clay explosions are unlikely but they do happen. We are unable to offer credit, or make up session.
BEHAVIOUR & TOUCHING
- Please talk to your kids before they come about behaviour, listening, and touching. Absolutely no touching will be permitted of other students or the teacher. Students will be instructed before each lesson of this and to keep their hands to themselves.
- Please note, in the event of disruptive or aggressive behaviour our policy is to call home for immediate pickup. No credits or refunds for being sent home for misbehaviour.
PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIALS
4Cats Art Studio reserves the right to use photographic material for advertising and promotional purposes. If you do not want your child, yourself or a member of your party photographed, please let us know upon arrival.
